  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine the cherries, sugar, and lemon juice. Toss to coat.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt. Stir in milk and melted butter until just combined.
  4. Pour the batter into a greased baking dish and top with the cherry mixture.
