Instructions

- Transfer the batter into the prepared pan, smoothing the surface with a spatula.
- Bake in the oven for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
- For an added touch, drizzle a blood orange glaze made from powdered sugar and blood orange juice over the cooled cake.
