Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8-inch round cake pan.
- In a large bowl, mix the almond butter and honey until smooth.
- Add the eggs and vanilla extract, stirring until fully combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the spices, salt, and baking powder.
- Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow to cool before serving.
Notes
- For a chocolate version, add 1/3 cup of unsweetened cocoa powder to the dry ingredients.
- Serve with a dollop of whipped cream or a scoop of ice cream for added indulgence.
