Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a baking dish.
- In a bowl, combine the apples, sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice, then place in the prepared dish.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, cream the butter and sugar, then add the eggs and milk.
- Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients.
- Spread the batter over the apple mixture.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes or until golden brown.
- Cool slightly before serving.
