Ingredients

Instructions

  2. In a bowl, whisk together the egg yolks, sugar, and cornstarch until smooth.
  3. Gradually pour the heated milk into the egg mixture, whisking continuously.
  4. Return the mixture to the saucepan and cook over low heat, stirring constantly until it thickens.
  5. Remove from heat, stir in the vanilla extract, and let it cool.
  6. Serve chilled or warm.

Notes
