- 9 lasagna noodles
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 pound ground beef
- 2 cups ricotta cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
- In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, Parmesan, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Spread some marinara sauce in the bottom of the slow cooker.
- Layer 3 lasagna noodles over the sauce.
- Spread half of the ricotta mixture, followed by a layer of beef and a layer of mozzarella cheese.
- Repeat the layers twice, finishing with noodles, marinara sauce, and mozzarella on top.
- Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours until noodles are tender.
Notes
- Let the lasagna sit for 10-15 minutes before serving to allow it to set.
- Feel free to add vegetables like spinach or zucchini for added nutrition.
