This Easy Slow Cooker Lasagna is a simple and delicious way to prepare a classic dish with minimal effort. Layers of pasta, cheese, and marinara sauce come together for a comforting meal.

Ingredients

  • 9 lasagna noodles
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
  2. In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, Parmesan, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. Spread some marinara sauce in the bottom of the slow cooker.
  4. Layer 3 lasagna noodles over the sauce.
  5. Spread half of the ricotta mixture, followed by a layer of beef and a layer of mozzarella cheese.
  6. Repeat the layers twice, finishing with noodles, marinara sauce, and mozzarella on top.
  7. Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours until noodles are tender.

Notes

  • Let the lasagna sit for 10-15 minutes before serving to allow it to set.
  • Feel free to add vegetables like spinach or zucchini for added nutrition.
