Ingredients

  • 1 cup mixed dried fruit
  • 1 cup chopped nuts
  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, cream together the butter and brown sugar.
  3. Add eggs and mix until well combined.
  4. In another bowl, mix flour, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture.
  6. Fold in the dried fruit and nuts.
  7. Drop by tablespoonfuls onto baking sheets.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Cool on a wire rack.
