A classic quiche with a rich filling of cream and cheese, enhanced with crispy bacon.

Ingredients

  • 1 pie crust
  • 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup shredded Swiss cheese
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Place the pie crust in a pie dish and pre-bake for 10 minutes.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, cream, salt, pepper, and nutmeg.
  4. Layer the crumbled bacon and cheese in the crust.
  5. Pour the egg mixture over the bacon and cheese.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the filling is set and the top is golden.
  7. Allow to cool slightly before slicing and serving.
