A lighter take on the classic tartiflette that’s quick and simple to prepare.

Ingredients

  • 3 medium potatoes
  • 200 grams light cheese
  • 100 grams diced ham
  • 1 onion
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 200 ml cream
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Peel and slice the potatoes thinly.
  3. In a skillet, heat the olive oil and sauté the onion and garlic until translucent.
  4. Add the diced ham to the skillet and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  5. In a baking dish, layer the potatoes, ham mixture, and cheese.
  6. Pour the cream over the top and season with salt and pepper.
  7. Bake for 30-40 minutes or until the potatoes are tender and the top is golden brown.
