- 1 package pizza dough
- 2 cups mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 cup pizza sauce
- 1 pound Italian sausage
- 1 pepperoni, sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, chopped
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
- In a skillet, heat olive oil and sauté onions and peppers until tender.
- Add sausage to the skillet and cook until no longer pink.
- Roll out the pizza dough and press it into a deep-dish pizza pan.
- Layer ricotta cheese on the bottom, followed by mozzarella cheese.
- Spread the sausage mixture over the cheese.
- Add pepperoni slices on top.
- Pour pizza sauce evenly over the toppings.
- Sprinkle Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes on top.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until the crust is golden brown.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

- Best served fresh, but can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
