Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, cream together the sugar and butter until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- Mix in the guava puree and vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with the milk.
- Pour the batter into a greased cake pan.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool before frosting with guava icing.
