Decadent and rich, these Dark Chocolate-Cherry Ganache Bars are the perfect sweet treat.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup fresh cherries, pitted and chopped
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, heat the heavy cream until it just begins to simmer.
  2. Remove from heat and add the dark chocolate chips, stirring until smooth.
  3. Add the chopped cherries, sugar, cocoa powder, vanilla extract, and salt to the chocolate mixture and mix well.
  4. Pour the mixture into a lined baking dish and refrigerate until set.
  5. Once set, cut into bars and serve chilled.

Notes

  • For a different flavor, try adding a splash of almond extract.
  • These bars can be stored in the refrigerator for up to one week.
