Deliciously crispy and crunchy tofu nuggets that are perfect as a snack or main dish.

Ingredients

  • 1 block firm tofu
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup plant-based milk
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Press the tofu to remove excess moisture, then cut into nugget-sized pieces.
  3. In one bowl, mix the cornstarch, garlic powder, paprika, and salt.
  4. In another bowl, blend the plant-based milk and soy sauce.
  5. Dip each tofu piece in the milk mixture, then coat in the cornstarch mixture, followed by the breadcrumbs.
  6. Place on a baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, marinate the tofu in soy sauce for 30 minutes before coating.
  • Serve with your favorite dipping sauce.
