- 1 block firm tofu
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup cornstarch
- 1/2 cup plant-based milk
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Press the tofu to remove excess moisture, then cut into nugget-sized pieces.
- In one bowl, mix the cornstarch, garlic powder, paprika, and salt.
- In another bowl, blend the plant-based milk and soy sauce.
- Dip each tofu piece in the milk mixture, then coat in the cornstarch mixture, followed by the breadcrumbs.
- Place on a baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
Notes
- For extra flavor, marinate the tofu in soy sauce for 30 minutes before coating.
- Serve with your favorite dipping sauce.
