- 2 large onions
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt to taste
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- Peel and slice the onions into thin rings.
- Dip the onion rings in buttermilk, then coat with flour.
- Dip again in egg, followed by a mixture of breadcrumbs, parmesan cheese, garlic powder, paprika, and salt.
- Heat oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat.
- Fry the onion rings in batches until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove from oil and drain on paper towels.
- Serve hot and enjoy!

- For extra crispiness, double dip the onion rings in both flour and breadcrumbs.
- Can be served with your favorite dipping sauce.
