Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup brewed coffee, cooled
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon coffee extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch round cake pan.
  2. In a bowl, mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Add the softened butter, egg, brewed coffee, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients and mix until smooth.
  4. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan.
  5. In another bowl, beat together the cream cheese, powdered sugar, coffee extract, and cinnamon until smooth.
  6. Drop spoonfuls of the cream cheese mixture onto the batter and swirl with a knife.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  8. Allow to cool before serving.
