- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

- 1 egg
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine warm milk and yeast, let it sit for 5 minutes.
- In another bowl, mix flour, salt, and brown sugar.
- Add the yeast mixture, melted butter, and egg to the dry ingredients. Mix until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough for 5 minutes until smooth. Let it rise for 1 hour.
- Roll out the dough into a rectangle, spread chopped dates and cinnamon, then roll tightly.
- Cut into pieces and place in a greased baking dish.
- Let it rise for another 30 minutes, then bake at 350°F for 25-30 minutes.
Notes
- Ensure the milk is warm but not hot to avoid killing the yeast.
- These rolls are best served warm.
