Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups chocolate chips
  • 1 cup nuts, chopped
  • 1 cup M&M’s or other chocolate candies
  • 1 cup dried cranberries or raisins

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
  4. In another bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and salt; gradually blend into the creamed mixture.
  5. Stir in the chocolate chips, nuts, M&M’s, and dried cranberries.
  6. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden. Let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
