Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, whole milk, sugar, cocoa powder, chocolate hazelnut spread, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Once the mixture starts to thicken, fold in the chopped hazelnuts.
- Transfer the ice cream to an airtight container and freeze for at least 4 hours or until firm.
- Scoop and serve, garnishing with additional hazelnuts if desired.
Notes
- For an extra chocolatey taste, add chocolate chips.
- Allow the ice cream to sit at room temperature for a few minutes before scooping for easier serving.
