Ingredients

- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup evaporated milk
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine sugar, cocoa, butter, and evaporated milk. Bring to a boil while stirring.
- Boil for 5 minutes without stirring.
- Remove from heat and stir in vanilla and nuts if using.
- Pour into a greased baking pan.
- Let cool completely before cutting into squares.

- For a creamier texture, you can add a bit of cream.
