Delicious and savory Chinese soup dumplings filled with a rich broth and minced meat.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 pound ground pork
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth, gelatinous
  • 1 tablespoon green onions, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon white pepper

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix flour and water to form a dough. Knead until smooth.
  2. Cover the dough and let it rest for 30 minutes.
  3. In another bowl, combine ground pork, ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, chicken broth, green onions, salt, and white pepper.
  4. Roll out the dough and cut into small circles.
  5. Place a small amount of filling in the center of each circle.
  6. Pinch the edges to seal the dumplings.
  7. Steam the dumplings for 15-20 minutes until cooked through.
  8. Serve hot with dipping sauce.

Notes

  • You can customize the filling with shrimp or vegetables.
  • For a richer broth, use homemade chicken stock.
  • Make sure to seal the dumplings tightly to prevent leaking.
