  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 2 green onions, finely chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the shrimp, cornstarch, sesame oil, soy sauce, beaten egg, green onions, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
  2. Shape the shrimp mixture into patties.
  3. Coat each patty with breadcrumbs.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  5. Fry the patties until golden brown on both sides, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  6. Remove and drain on paper towels.
  7. Serve hot with dipping sauce.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add minced garlic or ginger to the shrimp mixture.
