- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 egg, beaten
- 2 green onions, finely chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix the shrimp, cornstarch, sesame oil, soy sauce, beaten egg, green onions, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
- Shape the shrimp mixture into patties.
- Coat each patty with breadcrumbs.
- Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
- Fry the patties until golden brown on both sides, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Remove and drain on paper towels.
- Serve hot with dipping sauce.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add minced garlic or ginger to the shrimp mixture.
- These can be made ahead of time and frozen before frying.
