Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, cubed

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, garlic, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  3. Mix well until fully combined.
  4. Take a small amount of the meat mixture and flatten it in your hand.
  5. Place a cube of cheddar cheese in the center and mold the meat around it to form a ball.
  6. Repeat with the remaining meat mixture and cheese.
  7. Place the meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the meatballs are cooked through.

Notes

  • For a spicy kick, add red pepper flakes to the meat mixture.
  • Serve with marinara sauce for dipping.
