- 1 package crescent roll dough
- 1 pound mini hot dogs
- 1 egg (beaten, for egg wash)
- 1 tablespoon poppy seeds (optional)
- 1 package candy canes (optional for decoration)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.
- Place a mini hot dog at the wide end of each triangle and roll it up.
- Place the rolled pigs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Brush the tops with the beaten egg and sprinkle with poppy seeds if using.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving. Optionally, use candy canes for decoration.
Notes
- These are best served warm straight from the oven.
- For a spicy kick, try using jalapeño cheese hot dogs.
- They can be made ahead of time and frozen before baking.
