- 1 cup blueberries
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix warm milk, sugar, and yeast; let it foam.
- In a large bowl, combine flour and salt, then mix in melted butter, egg, and yeast mixture.
- Knead dough until smooth, then let it rise until doubled.
- Prepare the filling by mixing blueberries, cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla in a bowl.
- Roll out the dough, spread the filling, and roll into a log.
- Twist the log and place it in a loaf pan; let it rise again.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 30-35 minutes.
- Let cool before serving.
Notes
- For best results, use fresh blueberries.
- Can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
