Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup cooked jasmine rice
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 pound ground beef
- 1 tablespoon ketchup
- 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
- 1/4 cup shredded lettuce
- 1/4 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 8 rice paper wrappers
- Pickles, for garnish
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, combine the cooked jasmine rice, sesame oil, soy sauce, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix well and set aside.
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned and fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes. Drain any excess fat and stir in the ketchup and mustard. Remove from heat.
- Prepare a clean workspace and fill a shallow dish with warm water. Dip one rice paper wrapper into the water for about 10-15 seconds until it becomes pliable.
- Lay the softened rice paper on a clean surface. In the center, place a spoonful of the seasoned rice, followed by a portion of the cooked beef mixture, shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, and shredded cheese.
- Fold the sides of the rice paper over the filling, then roll it tightly from the bottom to the top, creating a secure roll. Repeat with the remaining wrappers and filling.
- Serve the rice paper rolls with pickles on the side for a classic Big Mac touch.
Notes
- For a vegetarian option, substitute the ground beef with cooked lentils or crumbled tofu seasoned with the same spices.
- Add sliced avocado or a drizzle of sriracha for an extra layer of flavor and creaminess.
