Delicious Big Mac-inspired rice paper rolls that combine the flavors of a classic Big Mac in a fresh and fun way.

  • Total Time: 25 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup cooked jasmine rice
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 pound ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
  • 1/4 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1/4 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 8 rice paper wrappers
  • Pickles, for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the cooked jasmine rice, sesame oil, soy sauce, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix well and set aside.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned and fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes. Drain any excess fat and stir in the ketchup and mustard. Remove from heat.
  3. Prepare a clean workspace and fill a shallow dish with warm water. Dip one rice paper wrapper into the water for about 10-15 seconds until it becomes pliable.
  4. Lay the softened rice paper on a clean surface. In the center, place a spoonful of the seasoned rice, followed by a portion of the cooked beef mixture, shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, and shredded cheese.
  5. Fold the sides of the rice paper over the filling, then roll it tightly from the bottom to the top, creating a secure roll. Repeat with the remaining wrappers and filling.
  6. Serve the rice paper rolls with pickles on the side for a classic Big Mac touch.

Notes

  • For a vegetarian option, substitute the ground beef with cooked lentils or crumbled tofu seasoned with the same spices.
  • Add sliced avocado or a drizzle of sriracha for an extra layer of flavor and creaminess.
