- 1 pound fresh green beans, trimmed
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup beer
- 1 cup cream
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder

- 1 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large pot, blanch the green beans for 3-4 minutes, then drain and set aside.
- In a saucepan, combine beer, cream, garlic powder, onion powder, and pepper over medium heat, stirring until combined.
- Add the cheddar cheese and stir until melted and smooth.
- In a bowl, combine the green beans and beer cheese sauce, mixing well.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish.
- In another bowl, mix breadcrumbs with melted butter, then sprinkle over the casserole.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
Notes
- This casserole is best served fresh but can be reheated in the oven.
- For a spicier version, add jalapeños or hot sauce to the cheese sauce.
