  • 1 pound fresh green beans, trimmed
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup beer
  • 1 cup cream
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large pot, blanch the green beans for 3-4 minutes, then drain and set aside.
  3. In a saucepan, combine beer, cream, garlic powder, onion powder, and pepper over medium heat, stirring until combined.
  4. Add the cheddar cheese and stir until melted and smooth.
  5. In a bowl, combine the green beans and beer cheese sauce, mixing well.
  6. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish.
  7. In another bowl, mix breadcrumbs with melted butter, then sprinkle over the casserole.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
