  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 package (12 ounces) linguine
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the onion, garlic, carrot, and celery, cooking until soft.
  3. Add the ground beef and cook until browned.
  4. Stir in crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper.
  5. Simmer the sauce for about 30 minutes.
  6. Meanwhile, cook linguine according to package instructions.
  7. Drain linguine and serve topped with the bolognese sauce and Parmesan cheese.
