- 8 sheets of fillo dough
- 4 cups sliced apples
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons cinnamon
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Layer fillo sheets in a greased baking dish, brushing each with melted butter.
- In a bowl, combine apples, sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice.
- Spread the apple mixture over the fillo layers.
- Cover with remaining fillo sheets, brushing each layer with butter.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes until golden brown.
- Let cool before slicing and serving.

- Serve warm with vanilla ice cream for added flavor.
